She started as London Correspondent and completed school as a Studio Assistant.

After graduating she joined NBC’s The Voice, where she had previous work in the casting department, in the contestant department. Youtube noted her and hired her for one year before joining WMBB News 13. She joined a team of 13 reporters reporting, writing, editing, and producing local and international sports news. Carly was later promoted to the level of Weekend Sports anchor. Before leaving the media group, Mascitti had served as a sports director for seven months. Carly joined WHEC-TV News10NBC first as an anchor and later as an Interim Sports Director. In 2022, Carly received an invitation to work at News5cleveland as a sports anchor.
