Amy Doneen is an American professional Nurse. She is a certified Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and an expert in preventing heart attack and stroke. She earned a professorship for Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Washington State Univesity School of Medicine, and University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.

Amy was born Amy Lynn Hubbard to German parents who lived in Heidelberg. She is a wife to Daren Doneen. The couple married in 1994 and are blessed with three children.

Education has always been a priority for Doneen from a young age. She started at Spokane Community College where she did ADN-RN Nursing. In 1992, Amy pursued a registered Nursing program in the same school until 1994. Five years after graduating from college, she joined Gonzaga University where she did a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; later a Master’s of Science in the same field and completed with Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner where she graduated summa cum laude. After years of practicing and opening her medical firm, she returned to Gonzaga University where she became the first graduate of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.

Amy is an internationally-recognized figure in the medical industry. She is an expert in cardiovascular disease risk assessment and the treatment of women’s hearts. In 1999, she partnered with Dr. Bradley Bale to develop a method for assessing and treating heart attack and stroke and reducing the effects of type 2 diabetes. They called the method BaleDoneen Method. In 2006, she founded the Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center where she is the Medical Director. The institution majors in making the BaleDoneen method a reality for Americans and the medical industry.

Doneen is also a highly sought-out speaker. Since she started her career, she has had more than 8,00 presentations, online and offline, responding to and addressing people’s needs concerning cardiovascular diseases. In 2022, she released her first book, Healthy Heart, Healthy Brain, which quickly became a best seller in Heart Health Books on Amazon.
