Kemi Badenoch was born Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke. Her parents, Femi Adegboke and Feyi Adegoke are Nigerians. She was born on 2nd January 1980 in Wimbledon, London after her parent traveled to London for medical treatment. Her father worked as a medical practitioner and her mother as a lecturer in the US. The family returned to Nigeria; but, returned to London after conditions in Nigeria became unstable.
