Cristina is Canadian-born and raised. She celebrates her birthday on 1st August 1982. The 41-year-old journalist naively entered into a relationship with Rob Porter, who was divorced two times after being accused of having abusive behavior.
For the three years, the couple dated and Tenaglia never saw the red flags or she ignored them. However, when they married she became a victim just like Rob’s former wives. She later joined Ryerson University where she studied Applied Arts and majored in Radio and Television Broadcasting.

Cristina started working before she had finished college. In 2003, she joined Rogers Communication as a reporter. After three years of working at Rogers, the journalist joined City News Toronto in the investigative News Unit. She worked as a researcher and producer for high-quality local news.
In July 2008, she went to work at CHCH Television as a reporter, videographer, and anchor. She had the opportunity to cover stories of national significance such as the Vaughan Tornado in 2009, The Queen’s visit to Ontario, the G8 Summit at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, the trial and sentencing of former Canadian Armed Force Colonel Russel Williamson, and the Murder Trail of Michael Rafferty.
She joined CTV News Network as a reporter and Anchor for CP24. In 2016 she covered Tim Bosma’s murder trial, the burial of murdered soldier Corporal Nathan Cirillo and the Toronto Floods in 2013. In 2021, she volunteered as CTV News Trainer for female journalists in Kenya, Turkey, and Tunisia. Tenaglia has a passion for lifting women through her platforms.
