Marsha Elle Age and Spouse
She was born on July 18, 1991, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to a loving family that accepted her as she was. She grew up with love and care from her parents. They later relocated to Miami where Elle would begin to thrive and attain celebrity stature. Her career remains her priority and matters concerning relationships, having a husband or having children come second.
Marsha Elle Condition
Elle was born with a birth condition called the proximal femoral focal deficiency. One leg was shorter than the other because the femur bone had been malformed or was missing. This condition resulted in above-the-knee amputation, a decision that would forever change Elle’s life.
Marsha has succeeded in changing her life. She is inspirational, courageous and a strong advocate of body acceptance. However, this was not so as she grew up. After amputation, she received her first prosthetic, which was white. Although it helped her walk and play with other children, it could not bend, limiting her ability to enjoy mobility. A few months later, she got another pitch-black prosthetic that still did not match her skin tone.
Her worst experience was in Middle and High school, where she struggled with identity, self-esteem, and finding friends. Her leg attracted teasing and questions she never liked answering. The stress and stigma she experienced in school, led her to start writing music, which became her escape. At age 17, she wrote her first song Hallelujah. Her life changed when she went to an amputee camp in Utah. The experience gave her a sense of belonging and the courage of embracing her body.
