Learning this led her to join Hartford Courant first as a multimedia reporter and later as an online producer. At Harford, she created visual and print content about entertainment and food.

“This is largely a mental health decision. It’s been a tough year for all of us and I know I’m not alone when I say, I feel like I haven’t had a chance to come up for air. Yes, it’s sad, but more than anything it’s exciting. I can’t wait to be closer to the family for a bit. Even before the pandemic, I haven’t even spent a holiday with them in years. I truly can’t wait to take a deep breath and find some much-needed balance in my life.“
Later she joined DNVR Sports Media and News Company as a reporter following the Colorado Rockies. On the side, she runs an account called Nacho Scout together with Amanda Eve where they sample the best stadium food.
