They later married and had two children daughter, Kimorah, 19, and a son, Izzy, 13.
Josh is a former Football player for Cleveland Browns, He has also played for Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders and New York Jets. He is a recognized player for recording two kickoffs of 100 yards and 8 kickoff returns for touchdowns. After his retirement in 2017, he was considered as a potential coach for Cleveland Brown, He entered until another coach took over.

Their marriage was not all roses. Initially, the couple faced divorce-threatening issues. At the beginning of their marriage, Josh and Maria had arguments about Cribbs’s night out with his friends. One argument escalated into a physical fight leading to police intervention. The police charged Josh with domestic violence. Before they could leave the house, the police found bags of marijuana, which Josh claimed a friend had given him.
The domestic violence charges, however, were dropped after Maria declined to testify. Cribbs accepted his crimes, leading him to serve three years of probation and 20 hours of community service. As part of community service, Josh was mandated to talk to the Boys and Girls Club at detention centers.
His probation turned into an obsession. He became passionate about speaking to people and he made it his profession. He used his experience to share wisdom on living well with other people. Josh bounced back from his mistakes and became a person of influence in society.

Josh and Cribbs host Cribbs in CLE on WOIW CBS Channel 19. According to Maria, the aim of the show is to give people an escape from the traditions of TV. It gives them perspective on marriage through the Cribbs Marriage and family. The couple tries to be real, raw, and authentic to their viewers as they attempt to give people the reality of marriage and their individual personalities as couples.
In the show, the couple has addressed and answered many questions from the viewers. They have shared their workout journey, eating lifestyle, and social issues such as dating, babysitting, spanking children, and marriage issues. The secret behind their success is allowing each other to be their authentic selves. They confessed to having different personalities but they find a way to work out things.
In July 2023, Josh and Maria Cribbs announced that 8th September 2023 will be the last day of their show after being on air for 5 years. The two are yet to announce their next endeavor.
