The journalist gained skills and expertise after working several years at KDVR and in the college’s media station.

Courtney has been a dreamer since childhood. She wanted to be a journalist and did all she could to make her dream a reality. She started at Highland Ranch High School and later proceeded to Santa Monica College where she did an associate degree in communications. As a student, she participated in drama clubs, which helped her to have the courage to speak in front of large audiences. In 2013, she joined the University of Nevada and did a degree in communication for 1 year before joining Colorado State University for the same degree.
After school, she got several internship opportunities all of which prepared her for her future career. She started at CTV Channel 11 as an entertainment anchor. Courtney was the anchor for a segment on Colorado State Television every Thursday night. In the 5 months, she was there, Fromm learned to shoot, edit and write the packages. She later interned at CBS News 8 as a reporter, anchor, and producer. There, she learned the ropes of journalism as she became familiar with writing scripts, reporting on the field, and producing content. She had the same experience when she joined KDVR-Fox 31 as an Intern.
She got her first employment in 2017 as a reporter and weekend anchor for Nexstar Media Group. For two years she worked in Lubbock, Texas area reporting about local crime, politics, crises, and natural disasters in Texas. She was later called to Colorado Springs to work as an MMJ, reporter, and anchor for Fox21. Courtney did news production and created content for the station’s social media and website. She also filled in for unavailable anchors. She served there for another two years before related to Denver as a reporter for Fox 31 News. Fromm served similar roles as those of which she did in other stations. However, her coverage area is larger. She covers national news, local news, politics, and events happing in Colorado and in the United States.
Her hard work and passion to deliver genuine news earned her Heartland Regional Emmy Award.
