His passion for music started as early as age 3. At 8 years old, he formed the Johnson Brother music group with his brother Nicholas Johnson. As a group, they worked hard and ended up performing at various stages and having the privilege of performing with artists such as Lee Williams.
His passion for music led him to join the Potter House, led by Bishop TD Jakes, to serve as a guitarist where he successfully auditioned and got the job. He perfected his guitar skills, leading him to perform with the Bishop and other nationally recognized gospel acts such as Tori Kelly, Kirk Franklin, Tobe Nwigwe, Leela James, Tweet, Todd Dulaney, and others.
