She pursued BA in Journalism and the other in Business administration and minored in marketing.
Her passion for journalism led her to internship opportunities as a graduate. She interned at Cox Media Group and also at CNN where she helped in covering the victims of Superstorm Sandy. Emily pitched the story, wrote the scripts, edited the video, and assisted in the production. The young journalist also interned at Fox Business Network as a producer and reporter. In her stories, she was tasked with booking guests for interviews, writing scripts, editing videos, and creating graphics.
With the earned skills, she got her first employment as a reporter at Time Warner Cable News for close to 2 years before joining News 12 Brooklyn as a reporter for 5 years. In 2021, Emily joined CNBC and has been instrumental in covering some landmark stories.
