Kennedi Walker Biography
When Robin Robert had the opportunity to work with Kennedi Walker at Good Morning America, she described Walker as mini-Robin. The remarks were beyond Walker’s imagination. It showed the rise of a new anchor, host, and reporter who would be taking the media by storm in the coming future. Later she joined Spring College where she studied Broadcast journalism. Stirring this desire later led her to Louisiana State University for a degree in Broadcast journalism.
As a student, Kennedi joined WBRX-TV for 3 months doing different jobs. She assisted in managing the floor, news anchoring, and operating the teleprompter. She also got an opportunity to intern at WWL-TV. Kennedi wrote scripts, conducted interviews, and participated in creating daily stories. She also has a monumental moment when she interviewed super anchor Sall-Ann Roberts and worked with her on some shows. Kennedi also had another internship at ABC News where she assisted Robin Roberts at Good Morning America. The young star assisted in developing daily stories and doing live segments.
Back at school, she was a news director and a radio personality for the station KLSU 91.1 FM. She had a weekly show called The Kennedi Show where she conducted interviews. Aside from the show produced weekly radio shows and coached reporters.
She started working immediately after graduating from WAFB TV as a reporter. Her other works were doing shoot stand-ups and editing videos. After 5 months, Kennedi joined WVLA-TV for 2 years before joining CBS as a correspondent.
