News fans in Florida are familiar with Autumn Robertson. She works for Spectrum News as a weekend evening meteorologist at WTSP-TV. The weather specialist is qualified in shooting, producing, and editing news packages. Her experience comes after working at KTVL-News and as an intern at CBS4 Miami.
Autumn Roberston Age and Family
She was born at the onset of Autumn 20th September 1994, hence her name. She grew up in Atlanta where her passion for weather was birthed. Autumn comes from a small family of one sibling and two parents. On matters of relationships, we have observed that Robertson is single as of 2023.
Education and Career
Her love for the weather came after watching the movie Twister. The severe weather in the movie terrified her but the fear gradually became a fascination. This desire to learn more about weather landed her at the University of Miami where she pursued a degree in broadcasting journalism and meteorology.
Autumn was an active student while in school as she was the committee executive co-chair of the Miss University of Miami Scholarship Pageant. The weather specialist also chaired the SPARK-incorporated Mentorship Program in her sophomore and junior years.
She was also the Executive Producer, Meteorologist, and Reporter for the school’s Tv Station. She was tasked with editing news story packages, editing scripts, and anchoring.
In her junior year, she went to an internship program at CBS4 in Fort Lauderdale Area where she assisted in reviewing publications and creating social media content.
After graduating, she got employed at KTVL News Channe 10 for 6 years as a weekend meteorologist. Her responsibilities were analyzing weather patterns, studying daily weather conditions, and forecasting weather changes. She was also instrumental in the production of weather news. In 2019, she announced her move to Spectrum News where she would be serving as a weekend evening meteorologist.
Recently she has done reports of Yosemite National Park’s decision to close after specialists speculated flooding threats, How the Pacific Ocean contributes to climate control, and the visibility of the northern lights.
