Running a successful mega-church is a dream for many upcoming Church leaders but some might not be ready for the cost it incurs those at the frontline. From our own analysis, we have seen that running a church requires one to give everything and even if one does so, one should expect challenges. In this article, we will do a minibiography of Pastor Bridget Hilliard. She is a pastor, mother, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She us famous for running the New Light Church with her husband Bishop I.V Hilliard.
Bridget was born on 12th March 1967. She has been a Christian most of her life. The pastor is married to Bishop Hilliard and they are blessed with three daughters, who also communicate the gospel in their positions in the Church.
Biologically, Bridget and her husband have 4 daughters. They disowned their fourth child Kermeshea Elaine Hilliard after she was found stealing money from the church. Netizens bashed the family for the failure of forgiving their own child despite being influential leaders in the Christian circle.
In response to her parent’s decision to disown her, Kermeshea wrote a book called Going to Church to Catch Hell where she narrates her duties providing oversight for a megachurch and the troubles she encountered when she decided to leave the church.
The book has been positively rated on Amazon, showing that other people relate to her experience. The family is yet to be reunited despite being separated for more than 10 years. In an Instagram post, Pastor Bridget celebrated her three daughters during national daughters day.
Bridger has been living the Christian way most of her life. In 1984, she co-founded the New Light Christian Center Church. In 2010, she started running NLCC Beaumont as an onsite pastor. Bridget also runs the bgirlfoundation, a nonprofit organization aimed at helping young girls to realize their potential and introducing them to the Christian faith.
Her influence as a pastor has made room for her at The Sheroes Leagure Conference 2023. She also rubs shoulders with influential Christian leaders like Cece Winans. Questions of her wealth can only be approximated from Kermeshea’s memoir.
She stated that her family was considered a mega-church that has lavish luxury from things like fancy cars, private jest and mansions. This can only mean that the Hilliard family can probably be more than $50 million.
