Most journalists had their dreams beginning from childhood. This dream guided them from grade school upwards to college. From a little child, Sophia Carolina Hernandez knew she would be a journalist. Now, she is living the dream as a reporter and fill-in anchor for Florida 24 Network. She is skilled in writing articles, editing, creating digital content, and telling stories. Sophia has also worked in ABC 10 News, WCTV, and as an intern at WFSU Public Media.

She was born on May 1998. Sophia identifies as an American national but her descendency is Latin. She is a sister to two siblings. Sophia is also in a relationship with Alex Falla, who serves as a marine.
Career and Education
Sophia grew up a theatrical performer of dance and acting. While in grade school, she loved reading morning announcements to the school. She translated this passion to journalism which she studied at Florida State University. As a student. she interned at Real Talk 93.4 as a digital coordinator charged with doing banner ads, website design, and planning events.
She was also tasked with creating and reporting for a segment called Real Talk. After 1 year, she got another internship opportunity at WFSU Public Media where she wrote, edited, and reported stories on various media.
Sophia worked on a segment called The Big Story. In her senior year in college, she joined Seminole Sports Magazine as a student anchor and reporter. She covered sports events that happened in the school.
After graduating, she got her first employment at WCTV as a multimedia journalist. She wrote scripts, edited material, and reported to the main station. The young journalist was later promoted to weekend morning anchor for a show called Top Rated Weekend Morning Show that covered local, national, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle news.
In 2021, she moved to San Diego to work as an MMJ and Reporter for 10 News and Channel 10. For close to two years, she gathered interviews, wrote scripts, reported live, edited the story of the day, and broke several news.
In October 2022, she moved back home to Miami, Florida as a reporter and fill-in anchor for Flordia 24 Network. Sophia has done investigative and enterprise studies around Orland, Tampa, Fort Myers, and West Palm Beach.
Achievement and Salary
Sophia is glad to be serving the country through her passion for telling stories. She has told stories and broke news that has local and national impact. The journalist is still young in her career and more can only be expected. She has the physical attributes that make her fit for the screen.
