How you do anything is how you do everything. This is a popular saying but it has been in play for many years. Chef Ahki Taylor whose real name is Sepsenahki Aahkhu resonates with nature and everything she does now must somehow touch nature.
She believes in a spiritual connection between humans and nature. From her belief, she has stemmed her lifestyle and eating habits. She is popular for her Supernatural and Cosmotherapy women’s retreats and vegan recipes. Ahki is a TEDx Speaker, cookbook author, and wellness activist.
She is an Oklahoma native born on 23rd February 1980. The 43-year-old comes from a generation of women who identified with nature. Her generation stems from women who believed in medicine from plants and from them Ahki learned a way of life. She is married and together with her husband, they have a son.
Going the Natural Way
Sepsenahki was introduced to the natural way of life at an early age. Her generation heavily identified with the African culture. As a child, she suffered many health issues like dehydration and fainting spells caused by a lack of water, vegetables, and fruits. At 18, she made a decision to start plant-based diets and has never looked back.
She believes it is her legacy to teach people to eat from what the earth produces. Not only does she avoid meat but also man-made and hybrid foods such as grapes, watermelon, carrots, and white potatoes. Her fans can access recipes and foods she promotes on her website.
The idea of nature and its provision to humans led Ahki to study more. Under Dr. Mark Amstrong, she did a degree in naturopathy and holistic theology. Graduating triggered a desire to learn more about spirituality and nature.
She became a student of Akkan Priest Nane Kweky and Oshun Priestess Yeye Isis. The chef studied the Ausarian Initiation System to master meditation and divination from Shekem Teka Men Ab.
She dug deep to satisfy her hunger to learn more by communing with the Taoists at the Hare Krishna Temple. Lastly, she studied Hebrew, and Muslim and spent time with Yawasoe who taught her about plant medicine for 10 years.
With all the knowledge she had accumulated, Chef Akhi became convinced of the connection between humans and the earth. She founded The Supernatural Woman and CosmoTherapy Retreat where she invites women and teaches them rituals that help them to tap into their divine selves. During the retreats, she offers Onsite therapies, Spa Therapies, Live Drumming, Chigong & Yoga.

As she does this, Akhi also educates the world and her audience about the benefits of plant-based recipes. She became a resident chef at Wendy Williams and show as a private chef to celebrities like Lee Daniels, Nick Cannon, and others but later quit to focus on her wellness organization and plant-based products.
Akhi also authored 5 cooks books, all with recipes and information that educates people about natural foods. The chef also produces feminine health products such as Uzazi and Purpole Seamoss Gel which nourishes joints, and reproductive health and boosts the immune system.
