After graduation, she immediately got a job with Nexstar Media Group at El Dorado, Arkansas where she was a multi-media journalist for KTVE NBC and KARD FOX. Jeanne worked there for 1 year before later relocating to Monroe, Louisiana to work as a news reporter for the same station. There she learned to produce news, report, and fill in as an anchor.
She worked there for another year before joining KMSS and KTAL NBC as a reporter. After a year and a half, she moved to Memphis to work for WATN as a morning news reporter. Her time with Nexstar Media Group ended when she joined KTAL NBC where she was an anchor producer, presenter, and an acting managing editor.
In 2021, she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group as a news anchor and reporter for KATV ABC. She covered breaking news and community-driven stories. Before she departed from KATV, she had covered news like the installation of a real-time crime center as a strategy to detour crime in the community. She also did a story where parents complained their children were asked to undress by their teachers.
