Sierra Fox is a new personality working for Fox 5dc as a reporter. She has perfected her craft through hard work and the determination to deliver news and meet the audience’s demand. Fox has covered news that have had a national and international interest. Her skills have grown from previously working for Nexstar Media Group, WDVM, and as an intern at ABC News.

Fox was born on 27 April 1994 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She maintains a close relationship with her sibling and parents. On matters regarding relationships, Fox is yet to be married. As of 2022, she has placed her career over getting a husband, starting a family, and having children.
Sierra Fox Education
Growing up, Sierra desired to be on the screens. This passion led her to Enloe Highschool and later to Campbel University where she did communication studies, marketing, and management. She actively participated in journalism activities and societies. In her senior year, she became the senior of the year in Broadcasting and Electronic Media.
Fox was also named Campell University Homecoming Queen. She was also the staff writer for The Campbell Times Student Newspaper. Fox also participated as the sports reporter for Campell Now Tv where she wrote scripts and reported stories about school athletics. She later became the anchor responsible for writing weekly shows and managing the production crew.
Sierra Fox Career
As a student, Fox had the opportunity to work at the City of Raleigh as a Youth Employee whose responsibilities were writing voice-over monologues and editing PSA Videos. In 2015, she got an internship opportunity at WNCN where she assisted anchors in producing My Carolina today and learned to use Edius software.
Sierra got her first employment opportunity when she joined WDVM as a reporter and anchor. Her responsibilities were pitching original stories, shooting, writing, and editing daily news stories. She engaged the social media audience by writing web scripts. While at the station, Sierra got the opportunity to interview Senator Tim Kain and Governor Terry McAuliffe.
She joined Nexstar Media Group also as an anchor and reporter who created original story ideas, and reports on and off the field, engaging the social media audience and contributing to the success of the station. Sierra helped the station to secure, Regional Edward R. Murrow Award Winners for Breaking News – September Tornado Outbreak and Overall Excellence and in 2020 AP Awards for Outstanding News Operation of the Virginias, 1st place, Best Continuing News: Capitol in Crisis, 2nd place, Spot News: Henrico Active Shooter Hoax and 1st place, Outstanding Sports Operation of the Virginias (UVA Basketball Championship Coverage)
After close to 3 years at Nexstar, she joined FOX 5 DC as a reporter and fill-in anchor. She has done exclusive stories of Virginia, Maryland, and DC. She has produced special reports such as Dancing in Dc and The Sierra Fox 4th of July.

Apart from her profession, Sierra is a fashion icon. She is never shy from putting on a style that is outside official attire. When she is outside work, Sierra gets the boldness to wear as she desires. She will put on a silk mini dress when attending casual events or an evening date. Her passion for dancing also goes without saying. Anyone who does not know her will think she is an Instagram celebrity because she is. On official duties, Fox carries style and fashion with it.
