He comes from a family of Christians and pastors. His nationality is American, his country of birth. Michael is the son of Theo and Evelyn Koulianos who owned a school. He was born on 17th September 1977 and by the age of 16, he had begun evangelizing to students at his parents’ school. At age 28, he got married to Jessica Hinn on 26th September 2004. The Beginning and growth of a ministry
The seed of doing God’s work sprouted when Michael was a student at his parent’s school. As he grew up, the desire became stronger and stronger.
In 2004, he became an ordained minister of God and in the following year, he started leading the World Healing Church in Orange Country. Serving as a lead pastor opened him up to the supernatural power of God, which encouraged him more pursue God and His agenda.
Together with his wife and the support of both their parents, Michael and Jessica founded Jesus Image Church in Orlando. The Church almost became an immediate success as hundreds flocked to the church every Sunday and during mid-week services.
As the church grew, they introduced other avenues, collectively calling it Jesus Image International Ministries. It comprises the church, school, and events. Jesus School is a Christian-oriented school, trains and equips students with skills that will make them effective in sharing Jesus with the rest of the world.
The school has an ambition of raising worship leaders and evangelists who will spread the gospel according to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Those living far from Orlando can access the school on Jesusschool.online. There, students receive powerful teaching and also connect with like-minded people. The school has a yearly 9-month program available to people aged 18 and above.
Jesus Image events are the last segment of the international ministry. They organize Jesus-filled events across the country as they proclaim the gospel.
Jesus Image documents its event on YouTube where they have 1.15 million subscribers and more than 240 million views. They post worship videos, events, and sermons from pastors.
Michael alongside other Christian leaders like Lou Engle of Lou Engle Ministries, Youth With A Mission and Christ for All Nations are the brainchild of an international event called The Send. In 2020, the event gathered more than 140,000 people who filled three stadiums in Brazil. Close to 2 million people stream the event online using the Portuguese live stream and more than half a million stream using the English stream.
