Steven Graves Biography
If you follow the beginning of a great person, you will notice their unique traits even before they were considered great. In high school and in college, Steven Graves displayed glimpses of becoming a successful journalist. Right now, he is living his dream. He is an Emmy-nominated anchor and reporter currently working in WPBF 25 as a morning news anchor. He is exceptional at gathering news, storytelling and creating digital content. Steven has previously worked in 13 News Now, WBBM, and KVII-TV.
He was born on 16th July 1992 in Maryland. Steven is a younger brother to Kenny Graves an academician and Mathew Graves, an assistant basketball coach. Now in his 30s, the handsome journalist could be seeking to get hitched. We have, however, observed that he is single.
The journey to becoming a journalist started at Salisbury University where he was doing a degree in Communication Arts, majoring in Media production. In his junior year, Graves interned at WUSA TV where he learned to set up shoots, pitching stories, and collecting information during newsgathering.
He got his first job as a journalist at Prince George’s Community Television as a news reporter charged with reporting live from the anchor desk, providing daily content, and operating cameras during newscasts. After 6 months he joined KVII-TV as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor. He executed solo lives shots, broke news, and posted enterprise stories on the website and social media.
He worked at KVII for 2 years before joining 13 News Now as a reporter for 3 years. In September 2019, he joined WBBM CBS in Chicago as a reporter. Like in his previous job, he served there for 3 years before joining WPBF 25 as a morning news anchor. He covered the police investigation after the shooting that happened on the beach boardwalk. Recently, he has been covering the expected presidential run announcement from Ron Desantis.
Although Steven has less than 10 years of experience in journalism, he has gathered enough skills to become one of the greatest. The journalist has also been nominated for an Emmy just to show his potential. Together with the likes of Aaron Thomas, they are likely to fill in the shoes of veteran journalist, Jawan Strader. As of now, Steven’s salary can be approximated to be $50,000 per year. He is also taller than what viewers see on Tv. His height could be 6 feet and 3 inches.
