This led her to join UW-Parkside in 2012 where she applied health science as she thought she would get a lot of money being a psychiatrist. However, she changed her mind at the last minute and opted to go after what she loved. She enrolled at Marquette University for a course in journalism and television.

In 2017, she got an opportunity to go back to her home state when she was called to work for TMJ4. She gladly took the opportunity and took roles as a reporter, morning anchor, and traffic reporter. She started at TMJ 4 as a receptionist and later as an intern reporter. Learning the ropes of journalism during her internship helped her to develop confidence for her future roles.
Every Thursday morning she documents a series called Wisconsin Weekend in a Minute where she talks about festivals and celebrations such as the Summerfest, Summer Night Movie series, and Harley-Davidson Homecoming.
