Things went in her favor when a man approached her with a business deal. For every hair sold, April was supposed to get a commission of $10. With the drug-selling skills she had, Divah got into the business. In three months, Divah had made the man more than $100,000. Another man, Tyron, came offering her $25 for selling hair. She got into it while still with the other man.
Business was good and everything was working in her favor until she started another business in Salon in Atlanta. Tyron was the money behind her business. Before the business in Atlanta took off, Tyron died from a heart attack. The second day after his death, April’s shop was robbed of everything including the ATM Machine.
Once more in her life, April Divah Styleswas stripped-off everything. In an interview with James Jones, April confessed that God stripped her off everything to teach her how to live on her own. Since the incident, she started rebuilding. And surely, she made her dreams a reality. Now she is her own boss and helps other women to stand on their own. April is big on Instagram as a celebrity and an entrepreneur running Divah Glam Brand, Divah Glam Spa, and Divah Glam Nail Spa.
Challenges still followed her in success. In 2018, April was found in a controversial police report. She was a target of rogue police officers. Pretending to be authentic ones, they pulled her over, asked for her address then broke into her home knowing she was not there.
The police were accused of stealing money and a Chanel handbag. The report also noted that Sim’s home had 390 grams of heroin, plastic bags, a cutting agent, and a digital scale. Her attorney defended claiming there was no mention of the Chanel bag. Her case was dropped.
