Baillie Burmaster Biography

Education
Her passion for sports started as early as she could remember. Burmaster had great experiences when she was at Peachtree Ridge High School. Later, she went on to Oklahoma State University where she did a degree in Sports Media and Marketing. Being in sports, Baillie naturally joined the Sports Media Club and participated in sports. She worked her way to join the girls’ soccer team.
As a student, Baillie interned at KCBD News Channel 11 as a shadow reporter who helped in doing live shots and creating packages. She later interned at Orange power studies doing footage at Oklahoma State Athletic events. Burmaster also helped in producing video packages.
Career
After graduating, she got an opportunity as a general assignment reporter in sports and a sports anchor at the Nexstar Media Group, Inc. She worked there for close to three years before joining WBAY-TV for years and is presently at WOIO as a sports anchor.
Since sports is both her hobby and work, Baillie has been able to dig deep into the world of sports. She has connections with coaches and players, making it easy to access information.
She has been all over Texas and the United States following the latest sports news. She has been covering Cleveland Browns for the entire season and the issues affecting the team. Baillie has also been involved in covering Basketball and baseball.
