Pastor Candy West
Candy West is arguably one of the most inspiring worship leaders, singers, and ministry leaders. Since she made the decision to follow God, West has maximized her efforts to make her ministry reach many people through her talent as a singer and her skills. She is not only in the church business but also in the business sector as a founder and CEO of Talent Suite Entertainment.
She is a Dallas native born on 8th September 1976. Candy is following in her family footsteps who were highly musical and Christian. Today, she has her music moving across the world having more than 50 albums. Candy is also a mother to Tres Wolf and a grandmother to Sugar. Our efforts to find the father of Candy’s son were unfruitful but we found out that Candy lives as a single mother.
Her career started at home with her 3 siblings. Candy’s passion for singing got her an opportunity to lead worship at The Potters House Dallas headed by Bishop TD James and Oak Click Bible Fellowship led by Dr. Tony Evans. Candy was also a background singer for international artists like Kirk Franklin, and Myron Butler.
Although she was a background singer, her passion was leading and producing her own songs. She started making songs, producing, and performing solo. In 2010, she was made director of worship at The Worship Center Christian Church for 4 years. In 2013, she founded Talent Suite Entertainment, a musical company designed to serve excellent music and entertainment services and events. She also owns a wellness foundation that deals with training and educating people on their health.
Candy West is also the senior pastor at Convergence Christian Center. Her services in the ministry have earned her opportunities to share the stage with influential people. She was selected as one of the speakers to preach at Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference Homecoming Finale organized by Bishop Jakes and his daughter Sarah Jakes.
When she is not preaching, Pastor Candy is working in her business Uptown Orchid Boutique. She is an influential woman with the desire to see people make a decision to follow Jesus and to inspire them to pursue their destiny. Together with the likes of Pastor Kels, Stephanie Ike Okafor, Dr. Anita Philips and Shameka Daniels, Pastor Candy and her ministry are raising the standards of morality among black people.
