Before graduating from university she went for an internship program at WMUR TV ABC 9. For the four months she was an intern associate producer, Speller edited and dubbed tape clips, researched stories, assisted new staff, and control live traffic during the broadcast. In May 2014, she became a News Intern at ABC 6. Here, she was responsible for editing and publishing online content for the media, updating News King, and assisting reporters and the staff in various responsibilities at the station.
Throughout her internship program, Speller was working full-time as a Senior News Correspondent for SALVE today. She wrote anchor scripts, edited finished content, and researched news for broadcasting. Ciara was first employed in June 2016 as a reporter and writer for SCATV. Here, she conducted interviews and edited and produced multimedia content on a weekly basis.
From SCATV, Speller joined WEBN-TV as a reporter, anchor, and writer. She reported live 2016 presidential election in New Hampshire and the 2017 Presidential inauguration in Washington. Ciara also created online publications and weekly newscasts.
