He covered games, featured in writing, did sports predictions, and produced clean copy. David was also the staff editor for The Peel, a literary magazine for the school. He led the team that reviewed and edited poems submitted by the students.

In November 2019, he joined FOX 4 at KDFW as an on-air reporter. The station tasked him with reporting live during 9 and 10 pm news. He was also responsible for writing newscasts and creating stories. He worked closely with people on the field, allowing them to do the news for the audience.
