Dyson is an expert in reporting, anchoring, producing, and creating digital content. Before his current roles, he worked as a morning host for Coast FM and a News Writer for CFRA.

He was born in 1987 in London, Ontario. The 35-year-old is also the husband of his long-time girlfriend. He proposed to her in September 2019 and married her on June 14, 2022. The couple is yet to announce children of their own.
Career
Byson has been a dream chaser from childhood. Once the dream to become a journalist became clear, he pursued it with passion. He went to Fanshawe College where he studied Broadcast Journalism and Television News Programs.
After graduation, he worked in several small media stations but later got his breakthrough when he joined CTV News Ottawa as a Multiskilled Journalist. Before this glorious position, he worked as a News Writer for the Bell Media Weekder and later as the morning host and anchor for 107.9 Coast FM.
His passion for sports landed him co-hosting responsibilities for Corner Kicks. When he gets a chance, he enters the pitch to play friendly soccer. He is also an avid soccer fan. Dyson is always updated with sports events happening in the English Premier League.
As a journalist, Dyson has been involved in covering some interesting stories like Pembroke Hospital’s decision to go paperless, the state of real estate post-Covid-19, and how Petawawa troops are suffering despite newly introduced housing benefits for Armed Forces.
When he is not working, Dyson loves to spend time with his wife, close friends, and family. Watching soccer and playing it is also his favorite leisure activity. His work as an MSJ earns him a salary of $50,000. He works along singe veteran journalists like Patricia Boal and Christina Succi.
