George Balekji Biography
To George Balekji, 27, being a journalist is not a job but a hobby. He loves it and loves revealing new events and covering news demanded by the public. His passion is mostly in sports but he can still offer services in the general reports. Balekji has been slowly perfecting his craft after having working experience at KODE-TV, WMTV, and YES Network.

The New Jersey born and raised was born on 15th February 1994. He is close to his sister Cecile Elizabeth. On matters pertaining to relationships, we found out that Balekji is in a relationship with Sylvannah Geha. The two have been dating for a while and have hopes of making things official.
Education
Working as a journalist came almost naturally to George as it was his dream from childhood. His dream first led him to Wayne Valley High School and later to Seton Hall University where he did a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology. While at school, his attention was driven toward covering sports. He was the digital correspondent for Setal Hall Athletics. George assisted in editing weekly segments of the athletics events and covering the school’s athletics events.
As a student, George worked part-time as a customer service representative at Today’s Business. His responsibilities were creating content, market research, and interacting with social media audiences to increase engagement. He later got a job at Westwood One as a production assistant tasked with assisting in producing, and editing Super Bowl and Winter Olympics sports highlights and making dubs for advertisers.
George Balekji Career
He got a glimpse of journalism work when he joined New York Football Giants as a production intern. His responsibilities were transcribing daily game day and practice footage and building and breaking down studio sets. George also interned at HBO as a sports production intern tasked with developing stories and assisting in production.
Balekji got his first big job at KODE-TV where he served as a sports anchor and reporter. He created produced and anchored weekend sportscasts. He also produced and hosted Pittsburg State Basketball Coach’s Show program. For the 2 years and 8 months he was there George perfected his skills as he was part of the team that researched, developed, and produced in-depth local sports stories.
George later joined WMTV NBC 15 as a full-time sports anchor and reporter. The journalist created top-rated sports content in the Madison area. When not anchoring, George assisted in the production, editing, and shooting of newscasts. He was also active on social media, engaging with the audience to ensure the pages remain active and relevant. In August 2021, he joined NESN as a reporter and host. During his time, there has been involved with covering exciting sports events. He reported on Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and many college teams in Massachusetts. His success as a journalist has made him a most promising anchor and reporter of the future.
Salary and Leisure
He is a gym rat when he is not working. He also loves spending time with his friends and family and traveling a lot as well. His hard work and passion for journalism have earned him an Honorable Mention for Best Sportscast by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters and also the 2nd Place for Best Sports Feature by the same association.
