Jorge discovered his passion as he grew up. He joined New York University’s Global Program in New York, where he got exposed to journalism. Jorge later joined Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan where he studied BA in Communication and specialized in Broadcasts and a minor in Business Administration.
He got a hand at journalism when he joined Walt Disney World as an Intern responsible for helping in the production and learning the ropes of creating content. In 2017, he got his first employment opportunity as a producer for News 12 Networks. He created scripts, edited , and prepared them for broadcasting. Jorge was mostly behind the screen ensuring everything is moving in the right order. The young producer occasionally got an opportunity to report news on the field.
He got an official role as a reporter when he joined NY1 for reporting duties. Jorge traveled across the greater city of New York covering events taking place in the local areas. His biggest role started came in 2018 when he joined WOIO as an Anchor and Reporter. With the experience he had had in other institutions, Jorge was confident in delivering news according to the demand of the audience. This earned him viewers and colleagues’ trust. The journalist worked there for two years and joined WKYC-TV where he works as a bilingual reporter.
