Outside journalism, Karina works as a Hostess as a student for Tia’s Restaurant and Bar on the Waterfront. Her responsibilities were responding to customer needs, cleaning menus, and balancing checkbooks at the end of the day. She also juggled as a student and sales associate at American Eagle Outfitters responsible for organizing the store, maintaining cleanliness, and sorting through merchandise. She also did a job for Delaware North Companies as Game Day Events Staff who was tasked with controlling all arena television, shooting sports fan in attendance, and editing game footage.
