Kelsey Jones Biography
Kelsey Jone is another journalist new to the industry. She is barely 5 years into the industry but has displayed promising skills in storytelling, doing live interviews, and writing. She works as a reporter and multimedia journalist for WTKR News 3 where she started as an intern and worked her way to getting permanent employment.
Kelsey is a Hampton native. She could be 25 or 26 years old. Since high school, Jones knew she would be working in Television. She later joined Virginia Common Wealth University where she did a degree in Mass Communication and minored in African American History. On matters regarding relationships, we have observed that her career has remained a priority. As of 2023, we can say that Kelsey is single.
Before moving to Northern Virginia she worked in Hagerstown as a reporter for WDVM25. She joined journalism at a time when the world was facing COVID-19 Pandemic. Kelsey was instrumental in doing reports on the effects of the pandemic in the country and the strategies the government was employing to prevent it from spreading further. The young journalist also followed up with Black Lives Matter protests in Washington.
Kelsey has a passion for covering stories particularly the voiceless. Her career as a journalist has also given her the privilege of meeting influential figures like international hip-hop artists Pusha T and Miss Eliot. She has also met other journalists by participating in the National Association of Black Journalists.
Outside work, she loves traveling and mentoring young girls. She is on the way to becoming a veteran journalist like Tianna Jenkins and Patricia Boal. Kesley lives off her career by getting an annual salary of approximately $50,000. She is also of tall stature. Her height could be 5 feet and 9 inches.
