Personal Details
She was born on 6th July 1989. Growing up in the suburbs and a well-off family put her in a place where she got opportunities to market her skills. She started at the University of Tampa where she studied Public Relations and Advertising with a concentration on Media Writing. Loren also put herself on the line as a commencement speaker, a volunteer of PEACE Internation, a new Student Mentor, and the president of Tampa Spotlight PR. In 2018, she went back to Cornell University to study Diversity and Inclusion.
Loren Piretra is an example of a modern girl. Her primary career has been succeeding in her career more than having a family, as has been seen by a majority of millennials. In an interview with Welcome to the Jungle she confessed to never wanting to have children in her twenties, she said
I had thought about it (eeg freezing) because I never really saw myself as a young mom. I arrived at this place in my early thirties, where my loans had been paid off, I was making money, I was in a place where I was financially able.
In 2021, with the help of her company, Loren decided to freeze her eggs. She shared the journey of freezing her eggs with her fans on Instagram. In the interview, she added,
I don’t know if I want kids. I don’t know if I ever want to be pregnant. But that’s what this was all about: having choices on my own terms and timeline.
Career in Digital Marketing
Having known what she wanted earlier on in life had Loren getting her feet dirty in the corporate world. She started as a part-time swim instructor and later a collegiate recruiter. Loren started putting her college degree into practice when she joined the marketing community for the National Football League on a contract basis while working as a reporter and general assignment writer for the City of Tampa.
Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she joined the marketing team in Atlanta for Red Bull. After less than a year, she moved to the leading marketing team in Florida where she served for two years before getting promoted to become the Consumer and Brand Marketing Manager. She later rose in the ranks of the institution by working in an On-Premise Sales and Marketing department.
In 2018, she was called to Red Bull Media House where she joined the Digital Marketing team to form partnerships with influencers, talented people, and athletes. In 2017, she was made the Head of Creators, a program centered on creators like social media influencers, moving images, artists athletes, and established talent. Her responsibilities were developing tools for resource management, talent development, and relationship management. In 2017, she became the Head of Creator in charge of bringing together all influencers and creators under Red Bull.
In 2019, she made a comeback to the National Football League as a Senior Director for Marketing tasked with modernizing the league, reaching new fans, and intensifying fandom. She increased the rating to more than 5%, and Monday Night Football gained more than 8% increase in viewership in the 1 year she served there. In 2020, Loren got a lucrative opportunity at Twitch first as the Global Head of Creator Marketing and later as the Global Head of Creator and Influencer Marketing.
She joined Playboy Group Inc as the Vice President of Craetors and Marketing where she was tasked with accelerating the growth of the business by partnering with influencers. She left Playboy and joined Fan Fix as the Chief Marketing Officer where she has the same responsibility of marketing the Monetization tool.
Loren Piretra’s moves have not gone without getting noticed. She has been invited to top publications such as The Drum, Forbes, Welcome to The Jungle, and Net Influencer where she unveils the power of social media and marketing in making a brand relevant, competitive, and compatible with the current generation and technologies.
Aside from her success in the corporate world, Loren is an inspiration to women who want to make a name for themselves.
