It is interesting how tragedy can bring people close. In the case of Rebekah and Pete DiMartino, the 2013 Boston Marathon bomb attack brought the couple closer than they were. Both Gregory, and their son Noah, who was 7 at that time, were victims of the attacks. Rebekah got his legs injured leading to amputation and the explosion shattered Pete’s ankle, ruptured his eardrum and lost his right Achilles tendons. The incident that was supposedly meant to separate them brought them together.

Pete DiMartino is popular as one of the 2013 Boston Marathon survivors. He is one of the 260 survivors rescued after the pressure cookers detonated on innocent marathon fans by two Russians. DiMartino had attended the event with her girlfriend, Rebekah, to cheer his mother who was participating in the marathon.
Pete was born in 1981. He celebrated his 39th birthday in 2022. He was born in a sports-oriented family but unlike them, Pete preferred to follow his dream. DiMartino is a husband and a father.
