In 2015 summer, Raquel traveled to Dublin, Ireland for 3 months working as a production and social media intern for Setalanta sports where she learned to manage social media accounts doing promotional videos and media coverage. Harrington also served as a production intern at New Decade Inc in Ireland where she wrote transcripts and conducted interviews.
After graduation, she joined HOMTV as a multimedia journalist for 2 years. She created stories, and wrote and edited weekly news packages. The media station also tasked her with maintaining social media platforms and doing live interviews.
She later moved to the Ozarks as a Morning MMJ at KYTV where she served for 3 years before becoming a race and culture reporter for Fox61 and CW20.
Since becoming a race and culture reporter, Raquel has revealed to the public matters that directly and indirectly affect them. The journalist tries to be diverse to represent all races. She has covered the history and culture of Mexicans by doing the story of a Mexican painter and artist. Raquel has also done a story on the history of meals served in Puerto Rican hotels in America.
