Shannon Lilly, 29, is an American reporter and fill-in anchor at Fox 45 News. Before working at Fox, Shannon served as a reporter at CBS 6 and WGXA. In her career journey, Shannon has been able to bag a GABBY Award and an EMMY nomination.

Shanon was born on 28th April 1993 in a military family. The family moved around often to allow for the accommodation of his father. She grew up in Colorado Springs and Tucson. Despite the movement, she had learned the value of family.

After graduating, the aspiring journalist joined CMT Hot 20 Countdown. Her responsibility was interviewing artists and assisting in the production of tapings and segments.
She started working officially at WGXA News as a multimedia journalist, producer, and fill-in anchor. She pitched, wrote, and presented stories on air daily. At WGXA News, Lilly earned the Gabby Award in 2018 for Best Feature Story.
After two years, Shannon joined WTVR CBS 6 News as a reporter and a Fill-in Traffic anchor. The three years she was at CBS 6 were impactful as she was able to push for social change by shedding light on the real situation in society. Her report on the aftermath of the destructive demonstration was nominated for an Emmy.
After three years at CBS, Shannon announced her departure on 21st December 2021. On January 28, 2022, Lilly announced her debut at Fox 45 News where she would be serving as a weekday morning reporter and an anchor on Friday midday.
Recently, Lilly has been involved in covering what Baltimore is learning about crime in the city, especially in the new year, the possibility of legalizing marijuana in Maryland after a majority of Marylanders want it legalized, and clinics offering free services to vulnerable people.
