Tierra has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember. From a young age, she knew television would be part of her lifestyle. Her passion for the screen led her to the University of Texas where she studied Journalism. At school, she volunteered in the school’s student television. She served as a sports reporter, producer, and host for several shows.
In her sophomore year, Tierra worked as a food reporter at The East Austin East. She did coverage of the restaurant and how it operated. She interviewed the chefs, owners, and clients. Working as a lifestyle personality landed her an internship opportunity at KXAN -TV in the lifestyle department. She worked with other reporters in creating show graphics and brainstorming and planning content.
Career
After graduating, Tierra joined KVUI as a community reporter and account executive. For 9 months, she covered positive aspects of the community and engaged with community members to create and maintain positive relationships.
In 2016, Tierra joined Fox 34 in the same department. This time she covered many areas considered part of lifestyle. She delivered reports on health, kitchen, food, and motivating stories. She was also the main reporter for Good Day Lubbock Morning show. Tierra wrote and edited the script for the show. Connected and networked with Lubbock residents to create a relationship with them. Neubaum also hosted Corner Kitchen where she aired locally prepared recipes. She also did stories on finances and money matters. Tierra served there for 2 years before joining Fox 7 Austin.
Life at Fox 7 has been similar to other stations. In the 4 years, she has been working there, Tierra has covered many stories that have been inspiring and encouraging to many people. She has done stories about the best rooftop restaurants in Austin and designers to help you in decorating your home.
