Vylana Marcus Story and Music
The story of what Vylana would become in the future started early in her childhood. In an interview with Andre Duqum, Vylana confessed that she knew she would become a singer. As she grew up, she learned that her deepest longing was to be loved unconditionally.
Being the first one, she was familiar with receiving love from her parents but everything changed when her younger sister was born. Vylana developed a desperate need to be loved after the love she once received began to dwindle. She grew up resenting her sister and desperately looking for love.
She started singing and dancing as early as 4 years old to get more of the love coming from her parents. At age 14, her parents divorced. Vylana confessed to Aubrey in an interview that divorce was one of the greatest challenges she experienced growing up because it took away the love her father gave. At 16 her mother re-married a man whose love was authoritative, leading Vylana and her sister to seek love outside their home.
Throughout her teenage and college years, Vylana danced and did music for the sake of fame and stardom. These ambitions cause her anxiety, depression, and a never-ending desperation for love, which tries to solve by getting into manipulative and toxic relationships.
Her path to freedom came when she chose to use her natural gifts and traditional practices to find healing. She practiced plant medicine, yoga, and meditation before going fully into sound healing, which freed her from the chains of the past. She learned to forgive herself, connecting to her feminist energy and learning how to love herself and others.
Finding healing and liberty led her to invest her time teaching, speaking, and realizing sound healing music. In November 2022, she released an album called Goddess Rise, a compilation of spiritual songs that blend holography music, and modern genres to call listeners to divinity.
