Stein is 44 years old. He lives in Maryland by himself as he is a single dad. Stein is Rebecca’s ex-husband. Their dating time was short and Alan described it as the mistake that led to the divorce since they started dating in 2011 and married in 2012. A few years into their marriage, the couple realized they were not fit for each other. In 2015, they separated and officially divorced in 2016. Their, union, however, was blessed with twins Luke and Jack, and a girl Layla.

Alan went for his graduate studies at Elon University where he did Bachelor’s degree in sports management. Two years after graduating, Alan started his firm called Elite Athelete Training System, Inc. The focus of his company was providing professional training to middle and high school athletes in all sports. His organization had trained more than 1,00 athletes in all sports. However, in 2007 he decided to focus on basketball.
In 2007, he founded Stronger Team where he focused on training basketball coaches and players around the world. Alan’s most impactful work was at Montrose Christian School and DeMatha Catholic High School where he worked with future NBA stars such as Kevin Durant, Justin Anderson, Markelle Fultz and Terrence Ross.
Getting the job at Montrose Christian did not come easy. He uses this experience to show people the power of patience and timing. Before getting the job, he was working as a personal coach for soccer moms, lawyers, and lacrosse players. He began calling at Montrose asking for an opportunity to work as a conditioning coach.
He thought the plan would work fast, but to his surprise, it took two years before the assistant coach picked his call and asked for his services saying conditioning services were urgently required. Getting the job took long than he had anticipated but it was just a test of his patience.
In 2015, Alan’s company merged with Pure Sweat Basketball where he worked as the director of performance. He created training programs, and mentorship programs and also advised coaches. Alan became the host of the Pure Sweat Basketball show and featured interviews with Bradley Real. Gary Vaynerchuk and Tom Izzo.
In 2017, Alan took his skills to the corporate level. He started using the fundamentals he learned in basketball in the business world. He currently helps businesses, decisions makers, and CEOs to develop leadership skills that maximize the potential of their company.
