Devin Bartolotta’s Age and Husband
She is a Monongahela native born on 1st September 1991. Bartolotta has a one-sibling brother and maintains a close relationship with her mother since her father passed on due to cancer. On matters of relationships, Bartolotta is a married woman. She is the wife of her long-time friend and date, Matt. The couple had their wedding in 2020 in the midst of their mission to travel to 50 states in 5 years. In September 2022, they joined the 50 States Club.
Devin Bartolotta Education and Career
Devin grew up with the desire of becoming an anchor. She went to school at Ohio University where she studied Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, the journalist got her first employment at KTTC TV as a weekend anchor, multimedia journalist, and producer. She did weekend newscasts and edited enterprise stories, and investigations. For the 3 years Devon worked there, she won 3 Emmy awards and was nominated for two.
She joined CBS Baltimore as a reporter and anchor for WJZ where she served as a fill-in anchor in morning weekend news. During the weekdays, she did 4,5, and 6 pm newscasts, assisted in doing breaking news and posting up to date news on all social media to keep it engaging and relevant. Devin also served there for 3 years before joining WWLTV first as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist first and later as an Evening anchor.
She has covered Hurricane Ida, floods in Ellicott City, and the aftermath of the Capital Gazette shooting. She covered plans to eliminate the income tax and replace it with property taxes according to plans declared by New Orleans representative Richard Nelson. Her work has also been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press.
Devin Bartolotta Journey to 50 states
In 2016, Devin and her husband Matt set a mission of visiting 50 states before she turns 30. The journey started but was challenged by the Covid-19 Pandemic as they had to wait for government approval to begin traveling. After the government relaxed moved restrictions, the couple resumed their mission.
By her 30th birthday, Devin and her husband had visited 49 states. They visited their last state, Montana, in September 2022. The rules of visiting the state were visiting a brewery, doing something common in the state, and Matt running a track. According to her Instagram, these are the statistics they gathered after completing their mission.
