His journey started in Ireland. He was born on 15th November 1991 in Belfast. Benjamin grew up in an area dominated by Christianity and as a result, he followed suit. He went on to marry Jessa whom he met when he was a student at Hillsong. Together, they have 2 children.
Career
Benjamin has been music from his teenagehood. He made a decision to move to Syndey, Australia when he came across Hillsong United records. When he was 19, he moved to Australia to study music at Hillsong Bible College. At Hillsong, Benjamin got a chance to meet Joel Houston, Hillsong’s co-founder. Together, they wrote So I Will (100 Billion X). The song went viral and ended up getting a nomination at Dove Awards 2018 and more than 144 million plays on Spotify. Other songs he wrote are Highlands, Take You At Your Word, Know Your Will.
After serving with Hillsong, Benjamin launched his solo career. He released his debut album And Then Some, in 2023. The album has done well, the most played being Homeward and That The Thing About Praise. He also relocated to Los Angeles, California. In the United States, he has joined other contemporary Christian Musicians in spreading the gospel through music.
