Naomi Raine Bio

Naomi Raine can be said to be the voice of contemporary gospel music. Her audience, which is mostly Christian, appreciates her vulnerability and openness about her mental struggles. She  is an American gospel musician and songwriter. She is popular for featuring in the Promises by Maverick City Music. Raine is also a worship pastor at Fresh Start Christian Church located in Mount Vernon, New York.

Naomi is the daughter of Lawrence and Marissa Felder. She was born and bred in New York. Her date of birth is April 9th 1987.  As a Christian, Naomi is open about her relationship life. She is married to Jermaine MizMania Solomon. Together they are blessed with three Children, Apryl, Kayden, and Savion.

Naomi Raine Career

Raine started singing as early as 2 years old when she had her first concert. By the time she was 7 years old, Naomi had written her first song. Since a little girl, Raine has aspired to be of service to God through her talent.

She went to LaGuardia High School where she studied how to tone her voice and improve her songwriting skills. There she also learned to play the guitar, which is her favorite musical instrument. After graduating from high school, the school awarded her the ASCAP Foundation Michael Masser Scholarship.

Naomi has been a background musician for worship leaders such as Micah Stampley and Juanita Bynum.

Currently, she is singing with Maverick City Music. Together with Maverick, she has featured in songs such as Jireh, Promises, and Story I’ll tell. The songs have touched millions of people across the world and drawn them near to God. Her contribution to Maverick has been recognized by awarding her the Stellar Award, Billboard Music Award, and Dove Awards.

In Grammy’s 2023, Naomi was nominated in 9 categories and bagged 5 awards alongside awards won by Maverick City Group. She also performed alongside Quavo and Chandler Moore in a song tribute to Take Off, who was shot. Naomi and the entire Maverick City Music were backlashed by fellow Christians, who accused them of being lukewarm. They accused Maverick of performing on the same stage as Same Smith and Madonna whose performance was demonic according to Christians. 

Other than music, Naomi serves as Pastor at Fresh Start Christian Center. She leads the worship team and nurtures the talents of upcoming musicians through her label The Bridge Collective.

Naomi is active across her social media platforms. She is mostly active on Instagram where she currently has 294k followers. The musician has 3500 followers on Twitter. She uses these platforms to share her desire to reach many people through her music.
