He had a passion for sports as he was growing up. Nick was an avid fan of the Celtics, Patriots, Bruins, and Red Sox. His passion was evident in Brookline High School where he played both football and lacrosse. Although he loved sports, Nick found himself at the University of Arizona doing a degree in strength and conditioning coaching. In his senior year, he interned at the Wildcats basket and football team as a strength and conditioning coach. After graduating, he joined the University of San Francisco as an intern for a year.
While in San Francisco the sports bug hit him again after he work as a replay operator and studio camera. Nick soon, realized that he loved doing sports television. He applied to do a master’s program at Northwestern University.
After graduating, he joined KTXT as a sports reporter and anchor. He learned to edit, anchor and report sports news. Nick also had his own 30-minute sports show. 2019 was his big year because he joined WLNS-TV. He had an exciting time there as he was involved in covering news like the impact of COVID-19 in sports and doing an evening show called Sports Overtime.
