After much chasing after her career, and trying different things, Shannae decided to settle and focus on a few things. In 2017 she got married to a white man, Sean Davis. Later on, they were blessed with a daughter Kensington.
Education
Growing up, Shannae was fascinated by fashion, which she knew as a tool to express herself. Tradition, however, had her following the education route. She went to the University of Toronto where she did a degree in Economics and Finance. After school, she got a job as a sales specialist at Holt Renfrew. Shanae worked there for five years before later joining Manion Wilkins and Associates as a client account representative.

Since her time at Holt Renfrew, Shannae was doing fashion blogs in her blog called What Women Want. The blog was gradually increasing in readership.
The need to take the influencer job seriously started in 2017 when she was pregnant. Together with her friend who had a career in blogging, they created a Facebook Group called The Glow Up. In the group, they invited fashionistas and influences to share knowledge, information, and skills to make them successful.
With the knowledge learned, Shannae started influencer work on her Instagram. Two years later, a few young influencers approached her requesting Shannae to manage them. Shannae never thought much about managing influencers until she realized a big gap in the social media market. Few brands embraced diversity, and many black influencers underestimated their value, and lack of black representation despite black women shopping luxury brands worth millions.
With this gap realized and background knowledge in the media industry, Shannae founded the Kensington Grey Agency alongside her husband who works as a Head of Operations. The agency focuses on providing services that benefit both influencers and marketers.
Kensington has managed to work with major fashion influencers like Emmy Award Winning Costume Designer Zerina Arkers, Digital Creator Ms. Kristine, Finance Content Creator Joshua Erabu and among others.
Being a founder of an agency that primarily focuses on fashion, she is leading by example. Shannae creates content that appreciates black and brown people and brands that are open to diversity. The fashion influencer has worked with, Neutrogena Canada, Lambert Bags, Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, and other major brands.
