Her pursuit of journalism started at Fanshawe College where she earned a diploma in broadcast journalism and later on a postgraduate in Television News. In 2015, she went back to school to study Meteorology at Mississippi State University.
She started off as a journalist at New Wave Video Productions as a racing event reporter. Julie served there for 1 year before moving to the United States as a Drag Race Event reporter for Live Nation.
