Ryan Ahlwardt Biography
Ryan Ahlwardt is one of the few people who have succeeded in chasing their passion and career at the same time. He serves as an on-air host for a lifestyle show called Indy Now, aired on FOX59. Ryan Ahlwardt Family, Age and Wife
He was born on 11th August 1981 and was raised in Fishers, Indiana. He grew up in a family that was highly musical. Although his father served in the Navy, he supported Ryan’s passion for music. Ryan’s love for music would later lead him to meet Lauren Orenga who later became his wife. The two had their wedding in 2007 and have been together ever since. They are blessed with two children, Olivia and Gus.
Music Career
The decision to become a musician started when he played the guitar when he was in seventh grade. His passion for music made him the choir president when he was at Hamilton Southeastern High School. Ryan also demonstrated the same zeal when he was a student at Indiana University where he was pursuing a degree in Marketing.
After graduating, Ryan continued his pursuit to become a musician. Together with 3 other young men, they formed the group The Coverdales. They toured around the world, performing in different areas and gripping their fanbase. He returned home and formed a band called the Mitchell Street Band. With the band, Ryan had an opportunity to hone his writing and performing skills and gather a following of his own. He followed up his growing skills with tours, promotions, and marketing that led to an increased fan base.
Within a short time, Ryan and his band had thousands of people listening to their music. His music was unique as he used powerful vocals, hooks, and conversational hooks that resonated with many of his fans. Seeing their fan base was strong, the trio released their debut album in 2006 called I Can See forever. The album was widely accepted in Indiana and other areas. They had tours and shared the stage with popular artists like Gabe Dixon, Ben Lee, Will Hoge, and The Spin Doctors. One of their greatest moments was when they opened for The Beach Boys.
Tv Career
As he grew the rate of making music, touring, and writing songs reduced. Ryan started venturing into other areas. He became an account executive for Cumulus media where he was tasked with advertising and developing new business leads. Ryan also became a guitar and voice Instructor at Michele’s Studio where he taught advanced guitar and voice classes. He later started his own Company Ryan Songs Inc where he specialized in creating voiceovers, vocal arranging, and voice coaching.
Ryan also joined Cumulus Medias as co-host of Radio Theology. He worked there for 4 years before joining Fox 59 as an on-air host for Indy Now. In the show, Ryan and his co-host Jillian Deam cover entertainment and lifestyle events happening in Indiana. They have covered news like reasons women lose their hair, money mistakes to avoid, how to eat healthier, tax analysis, and other exciting stories. Outside Work
Although Ryan works as a TV personality, he still identifies as a singer and songwriter. He continues releasing more soul and mature music for his day-one fans.
