The decision to become a musician started when he played the guitar when he was in seventh grade. His passion for music made him the choir president when he was at Hamilton Southeastern High School. After graduating, Ryan continued his pursuit to become a musician. Together with 3 other young men, they formed the group The Coverdales. They toured around the world, performing in different areas and gripping their fanbase. He returned home and formed a band called the Mitchell Street Band.
