Teri Ijeom was born on the 20th of June in Dallas, Texas, where she was raised by her single mother and grandmother. They lived a modest lifestyle but Teri’s dreams were bigger than their neighborhood. Although she had not realized her plans to succeed at a young age, inside of her was a fire to do great exploits. When she realized her niche, Teri placed it as a priority over marriage, children, and spouse.

She graduated well from high school and secured a position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she pursued a degree in Bachelor of Management Science, Business Management, and Marketing. Teri got the job she wanted at Monitor Group QMS and ISO Consulting Services where she was the Management Consultant responsible for coordinating project management initiatives, projects, consultants, and external partners. Teri also advised clients through research, customer interviews, and presentations.

While working for the Monitor group a friend introduced her to Teach for America, where she started working in May 2008. At Teach for America, Teri executed plans to hire 150 employees and train 800 teachers every.

The nonprofit organization promoted Teri after two months. In January 2013, Ijeoma joined By The Hand Club for Kids where she was the Director. Her responsibilities were facilitating all HR duties, increasing volunteer retention, and presenting speeches.

Teri founded her real estate agency which helped people to locate apartments in Texas. Her success was pronounced in 2017 when she founded Invest with Teri, where she educated people on how to invest in the stock market through her online course called trade and travel.

Working as an assistant principal in the education sector was frustrating. She had regular conflicts with the Principal. Teri spent hours in the bathroom, grieving and crying because the disappointment she had were too much. However, her crying room soon turned out to be her breakthrough room.

According to an interview with Caleb of Investopedia, Teri stated that she made her freedom from employment trade worth $3,000, which was almost her monthly salary.

It was after the trade that she decided, to leave her job at the end of that school year. Since making her first major trade, Teri’s income had been increasing gradually. She focused on making $300 a day, then to $1,000, to $100,000 and in 2021, she made $1,000,000 in a day.

Teri’s success, however, did not come without challenges. She had made avoidable mistakes on her way to success. For instance, Teri did not make any progress for six years because she did not want to learn from people with experience.

For all six years, she lost more than she could make. Her greatest loss came when she was in Thailand where she lost money after buying 8,000 shares in Pandora, which later dropped to $3 overnight. Despite her loss, Teri held on to her job. She came back. rebuilt and became wiser in making her trading decisions.

Teri has become a motivation to many stock market traders, African Americans, and women. She has been featured on Forbes, Bloomberg, Fox, and CBN.
