While in school, she was an anchor and news reporter for the school radio and TV.
She got her first job as a traffic producer and morning production coordinator when she joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. Her duties were doing voice-overs, reporting, and writing segments for the radio station.
She served here for 2 years before joining News 12 as a traffic reporter and producer. She presented traffic voiceovers every 15 minutes, compiled traffic updates, wrote scripts, and ran the router.
In 2010, she joined Spectrum News formerly Time Warner as a traffic reporter and anchor for NY1 and Road 24 Hour. Adelle Caballero also helped to cover news on fashion and other general news. Her departure from NY1 was controversial despite working at the station for close to a decade. In 2019, Adelle Caballero announced she had quit working for the station because she could not agree with the management on the contract specifics.
Caballero sent a company-wide email informing everyone that she did not quit because she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom or was struggling to balance work and motherhood as the Company had impressed. The reporter further shared that she was glad to be back for work after the maternity leave but was shocked after people from the management impressed that she was struggling to balance being a mother and a career woman.
Adelle has gone further and displayed to the world that she can balance her motherly responsibilities and work stuff by being an exceptional anchor at NBC. She has been involved in updating New Yorkers with hour-by-hour updates on the traffic situation in the city and outskirts. She also records voiceovers and assists in doing field reports.
