Alewya Demmisse is an Egyptian-Ethiopian descent multidisciplinary artist, producer, and model based in London. She draws from her Arab heritage ideas and style for creating music and arts. Her father was an Egyptian who had Sudanese roots while her mother was an Ethiopian. Demmisse is also a model signed with Women in New York, and Storm in London. She is also a model for Elite Model Management, The Squad, M4 Models, and Fabbrica Milano.

However, before she could go further with her education her talents were discovered when Cara Delevingne, 2012 and 2014 British Fashion Model of the Year, saw her dancing in the film Kids in Love. Cara proposed to the actress modeling contracts in New York and London, which Demmisse gladly accepted.
Besides her talent for modeling, Alewya is also a musician and songwriter. She released her first single, Sweating, in 2020. The song was done by Busy Twist and Shy FX. The visuals were also widely accepted as they hit one million views on YouTube in just three months. Her second single was The Code released on 17th March 2021. The artist appeared in the short film Tall Are the Roots.
Despite her youthfulness, Demmisse has been able to introduce a new music style that has been accepted by a wide population of British Youth.
