Alexandra Pinto is a journalist, news anchor, and producer working for CTV Kitchener. Alex is one of the promising journalist from Canada. She joined the media network in January 2022 as an anchor for CTV News at six. Prior to her new positions, Pinto worked as an anchor for CTV News at 11.30 and CTV News at 5. She has covered the corona situation in Ontario and had interviews with health officials, heads of hospitals, and local leaders.

She started writing articles for the local newspaper and volunteered at a local television station where she produced, edited, and reported local stories. She also did another internship after her post-grad program at Global Toronto where she worked as a reporter and editor. The media network later hired her as an Editorial Assistant. There she covered high-profile events such as the 2012 London Olympics and community news. In 2014, she joined CTV News as an anchor and videographer.

As a journalist, Alexandra has had the privilege to interview Isabelle Hudon, the president, and CEO of the Bank of Canadian Entrepreneurs, and Mark Crowell the Chief of Police at Waterloo Regional Police Service.

She later started working as an anchor for the CTV News at 11. and later at Five. In January 2022, she was promoted to anchor and producer for CTV News at six. Her work as a journalist has led her to work at jobs such as a host for Business Excellence Awards Gala 2022. Her position as a journalist also earned her an opportunity to emcee at the Heffner Women’s leadership in 2023.
