0 Many want to be filled with the Holy Spirit but few are hungry for HIm. Andres Bissoni had lived a Christian life from childhood. He was born in a Christian family. They went to Church on Sunday, and Wednesday and held devotions at his home. However, he never understood the meaning of the Christian life. In fact, he questioned the existence of God when he joined campus. He met people from other religions all arguing the sovereignty of their god. Bissoni was confused and could not understand what it meant to follow Jesus.
It amazed him how young people from his Church were hungry for God, seeking and spreading the Gospel. All of them spoke of how they experienced the Holy Spirit. Andres grew hungry for what his friend had. The young men and other preachers prayed for Bissoni but all was in vain. He attended conferences but could not experience the Holy Ghost. He tried praying on His own but could not convince the Holy Spirit. In all the trials and failures, Bissoni held on to a scripture that says The Promise is to You.
After attending a conference, he got on the bus and started talking to a young man about the Holy Spirit. The young man laid his hands on Bissoni and suddenly young men in the bus started speaking in tongues and suddenly a feeling of electricity and abundant love was poured into Bissoni. The Holy Spirit introduced himself to Bissoni and He was more than he had ever imagined. This encounter encouraged Bissoni to begin ministry. He left his job and started doing ministry full-time.
